I was so sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing. She was always a smiling face whenever I saw her, or spoke to her on the phone. She had a wonderful sense of community, always remembering birthdays and special occasions for everyone. My son will miss his birthday cards addressed from "Mrs Cookie". We are so sad to hear of Mrs Cookie's passing. You being neighbours to our Grandma and Grandpa made it easy for us to pop over for a little visit from time to time. I had the great pleasure to be able to sit and talk with Lorraine and Bill this past summer at my sister Mae & Clare Paton's 50th wedding anniversary. It brought back wonderful memories of how kind and caring Lorraine and Bill were to me during my childhood growing up across the street from them.
