Obituary of Anna Strathopolous

Peacefully with her family at her side, Anna passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020, in her 93rd year. Born March 4th, 1928. Predeceased by her husband James ‘Jim’. Survived by her sons George (Patti) and Bill (Catherine). YiaYia is missed by her granddaughters Jessica (Ryan), Jackie (Scott) and Dimi; and great-grandchildren Delaney, Thomas and Janessa. Anna will be dearly missed by her sister Marika; nieces Ellen, Pat and Jann; and nephews Nick and Aki. A heartfelt “thank you” to the staff of University Hospital - Clinical Neurological Sciences Program, 7th Floor for their kind and compassionate care of Mom and support of the family. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 131 Southdale Road West, London, on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Fr. Konstantine Chatzis. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. In remembrance of Mom, donations to the Holy Trinity Community of London would be greatly appreciated.
