Obituary of Grace Doreen RN, UE (née Richardson) Lumbers

Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute, on Saturday, February 8, 2020, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her son Douglas (2011) and her sister Norma McGill (2010). She leaves with much love, her grandchildren Kody and Tegan Lumbers (Clayton Knapp); great-grandson Mason Knapp; brother Jack Richardson (Marion); and six nieces and nephews, along with their extended families. Grace enjoyed travel, reading, sharing her ancestral interests and love of nature with others. Special thanks to the staff at Parkwood Institute - Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care, kindness and compassion. At her request, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. Private interment will take place at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, Ontario. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grace are asked to consider a local nature group, historical society or library. “Farewell.
