Obituary of Norma Edna Hastings

Passed away peacefully at peopleCare Oakcrossing on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in her 91st year. Cherished wife of Frank for 68 years. Beloved mother of Cameron, Christopher (Wendy), and Anne Bourne (Ed). Proud Grandma of Stephanie Hastings (Leon Tomlin), Jennifer Harris (John), Melissa Hastings (Steven Madsen), Jason Hastings (Alex Mote), Emily Hastings, Frank Bourne, Ella Bourne, and Harry Bourne. Loving Great-Grandma of six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Wilson and Ella Bailey; and siblings, Helen, Alf, and Gerry. Norma will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was a longtime member at St. Aidan's Anglican Church. Norma was an avid bridge player and enjoyed painting, knitting and baking. A special thank you to Nora, Omar and the staff of peopleCare Oakcrossing for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A private Celebration of Life will be conducted at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church. Registration is required to attend the visitation at Westview Funeral Chapel.
