Obituary of Philip R. Wombwell

Philip R. Wombwell of London, Ontario, formerly of Nottingham, England – Peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, June 17th, 2012, at the Dearness Home, Philip R. Wombwell in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Janet and the late Mavis. Loving Dad of Ian Wombwell, Heather Malcolm (Graham), all of London and Paul (Jocelyn) Wombwell, of Guelph, and stepfather of Laura Lucier (Steve Wulf), of Houston, Texas, and Julia (Kevin) Wild, of London. Loving Papa of Hayley, Matthew, Ava, Jett, Amelia, Jackson, Paige and Caelan. Dear son-in-law of Marie Van Linden. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Elsie. Thank you to the staff at the Dearness Home for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Society Canada or to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
