Obituary of John Mathieson Ormerod

Peacefully at his residence on Monday, April 2nd, 2012 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Alberta Ormerod (2006). Loving father of Kathy Ormerod, Pat and Al Rioux, David and Holly Ormerod, Don Ormerod, Charles and Heidi Ormerod and father-in-law of Mel Ormerod. Dear grandfather of Stacey, Christy, Jonathan, Renee, Nicholas, Danielle and Connor and great-grandfather of Jasmine, Joel, Izaak, Katelyn and Ethan. Loving brother of Gus Ormerod and Dorothy Kanter. Predeceased by his beloved son John Ormerod (2001) and great-grandson Deiter (2002). Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, April 7th, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. where the funeral service will commence at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with private interment at Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre or the Arthritis Society.
