Obituary of Roberta (née Monteith) May

Passed peacefully at University Hospital, on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, in her 79th year. Cherished wife of Wilf May for 59 years. Beloved and adored Mom of Teri May (Dave Durocher). Honourary grandmother of Christine Durocher. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews: Debbie, Cindy, Linda, Michael, Mark, Scott and John. Predeceased by her sister Anne Wright. Roberta was a truly exceptional person; her wicked sense of humour coupled with her compassionate spirit was endearing to all she encountered. Cremation has taken place. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, a joint Celebration of Life for Roberta and Wilf that was to be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, has been postponed until the fall. The date and time will be announced once confirmed. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Roberta are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.
