Obituary of Alma Marie (née Beechie) LeClair

Peacefully, at McGarrell Place on Thursday, January 9th, 2020 in her 91st year. Loved wife of Art LeClair (2012). Loving mother of Paul (Diane), of Calgary; Dave (Sheila), Rob (Lucy), all of London; and Mark (Reneé) of Plano, Texas. Dear Nanny to nine grandchildren, Kati (Andy), Tara (Scott), Adam (Kelly), Jenna (Dave), Melissa (Alex), Jessica (Luke), Marc, Cole and Hunter. Great-grandmother of Henry, Olive, Emma, Georgia and August. Predeceased by her brother Joseph Beechie. Alma was a long-time teacher at the London and District Roman Catholic Separate School Board, retiring from there after having served for a number of years as a Special Education Teacher. She loved to find and acquire unique toys and collectibles. Some of her best memories were of travelling with her beloved Artie. A sincere thanks to Lynda, Alma’s special and devoted caregiver for the past few years. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
