Obituary of Nelly Felix

After an almost 30 year battle with breast cancer, the strongest woman we know left us on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Victoria Hospital, at the age of 79. Nelly fought right until the very end, surpassing all definitions of strength and willpower; she defied the odds numerous times. Nelly was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Loving mother of Nancy (Steve) and Irene (Mike). Beloved Oma of Rebecca, Alexander (Penny), Laura and Eric (Jaiden). Dear sister of Marry, Joop (Haydee) and Kees (Janie). Also loved by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents Melchior and Neeltje, and by her brother Ton. A funeral service will be conducted at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 746 Colborne Street, London, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Nelly are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program, the Canadian Cancer Society, the London Public Library or the T.L. Ristine Bursary Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church.
