Obituary of Frank Loftus

Peacefully on Thursday July 18, 2019, we lost our beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend. Frank and his wife Linn were happily married for 54 years. Frank was very proud of his sons Rain and Jay, and his little grandson Nicholas. Frank will be missed by Louise (Rain’s Fiancé), Cookie his faithful dog and dear friends. It is our sincere hope that Frank "Sparky" will be remembered for his many years of coaching and teaching. Predeceased by his parents, Clara and Dr. Louis Loftus, his brother Bill and sister Mary. Survived by his sister Carole Loft. Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff on the 9th and 10th floors at University Hospital. The family is very grateful for the care Frank received from nurse German Ortiz of Saint Elizabeth Health Care, and PSWs. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider The Optimist Club of Oakridge Acres to help support youth sport in Frank’s memory or St. Joseph’s Hospice.
