Obituary of Danny Allan McKnight

Peacefully with his loving wife, Louise, and family by his side, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, on Sunday, June 23, 2019, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Louise for 30 years. Loving Dad of Kari McKnight (Tim), Daryl (Cara) McKnight, Louise (Joe) Gennaro, Donna (Allen) Mitchell. Loving Grandpa of Lewis, Madison, Sarah and Mackenzie. Loving brother-in-law and best friend of Doug (Jessie) Francis. Survived by brother Donald (Patsy) McKnight; sisters-in-law Maggie (Rick) Nelligan and Leonora (Jim) McClelland. Loving uncle of Dereck (Dawn) Francis, Doug (Lori) Francis, Graeme (Louise) Gilmour, Frazer (Bruna) Nelligan, Kenzie Nelligan, Bobby McKnight, Tommy McKnight, Lee (Scot) Russell, Alana (Joel) Nelligan and Sarah McKnight. Missed by many great-nieces and great-nephews, and extended family home and abroad. Predeceased by parents Don and Dorothy McKnight. Danny was a former employee of Kellogg’s for 38 years. He was a passionate London Knights fan, and loved racing Standardbred horses. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
