Obituary of Edna Marjorie Hunter

Peacefully, on Thursday, April 23, 2019 at McCormick Home, Edna Hunter of London passed away in her 95th year. Predeceased by her parents Meredith and Eva Hunter, and by her sister and brother-in-law Mary and George Johnston. Loving aunt to Gary (Joy), Carol (Bill), Kathy (Jim) and Janet (Ron). Great-aunt of Julie (Paul), Ryan (Michelle), Matthew (Jennifer), Lindsay (Mike), Brett (Krystie), Kirsten (Blake), and Tyler (Erika). Adoring GG to 11, soon to be 12, great-great nieces and nephews. Dearly missed by her friends from Bell Canada as well as by her extended family and many friends. Edna deeply cherished spending time with family and friends, the trusted companionship of her dogs, and travelling to see new sites around the world, especially within Europe. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Edna will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Sunningdale Golf & Country Club, 465 Sunningdale Road West, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Edna are asked to consider the Canadian Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, or Plan International Canada Inc.
