Obituary of Ingelore MacRae (née Nowicki)
MacRAE, Ingelore “Ina” (née Nowicki) – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Ina MacRae, peacefully holding the hands of her husband and daughter, and surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at LHSC - Victoria Hospital, in her 62nd year. Forever loved by her husband, Dan MacRae for 36 years. The best mom to her daughter, Victoria MacRae. Tremendously loved and adored by her grandchildren, Brayden and Bailey. Dear step-mother to Jeremey (Amy) MacRae. Special step-Grandma to Avery and Clarke. The most loving little sister to Paul (Ruthanne) Nowicki, Weronika Hill and Irene (John) Komnos. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Adam and Alma Nowicki. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She will be missed by her many friends. Ina was born in Milomlyn, Poland, in 1958, and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1964. She was full of pride when she became a Canadian citizen on December 3, 1973. A very proud and dedicated employee of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for 43 years. She loved her co-workers and enjoyed any time spent with them. Ina was cherished by an incredible community of friends and family. She loved spending time with her grandkids, family vacations to Florida, and hosting the best gatherings. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Family and friends will be received at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., where a memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ina are asked to consider the United Way Elgin Middlesex.
