Obituary of Velda Mae McFarlane

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross McFarlane. Loving mother of Ron (Jan), Bob (Brenda) and Ann (Darrell). Adored grandmother of Nikki (Trevor), Cindy (Colin), Jenny (Bryan), Paula (Jake), Carla (Jeff), Kevin (Sarah), Brent (Katie), Greg, Ian (Lee), Nick (Olivia), Bryanna (Raj) and Everett. Dear great-grandmother of Maddi, Benett, Ella, Jack, Julia, Dylan, Nora, Rylan, Tatum and Dori Mae. Velda Mae loved to “drop in” on friends and family and visit. She enjoyed golfing, shopping, dining out and water aerobics. Above all, she cherished the moments she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior. Private interment of cremated remains at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest, Ontario, at a later date.
