Obituary of Len Obokata

On the morning of Wednesday, February 6th, 2019, (George) Len Obokata passed away in his home at the age of 71. Len is survived by his loving children, Kristin, Darcy (Heather), and Jennifer; his grandsons, Kirin and Kenjiro; his stepsiblings, Ken (Teresa) Bell and Sharon Bell; and friend and former wife, Betty Obokata. Predeceased by his mother, Mary Chee Soon Lee; father, George Obokata; and stepmother, Ethel (Bell) Obokata. Len served the provincial courts of Ontario for over 40 years as a Justice of the Peace. The family would like to thank Sherry Vergilio, RN; Dr. K. Milne; and Dr. C. Yamashita for their exceptional care. A Celebration of Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Rd North, London on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Len are asked to consider the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
