Obituary of Dick Dean

After a life adventurously lived and fulfilled, Dicky Dean passed away at the Village of Glendale Crossing L.T.C., on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Forever loved and remembered by his wife, Marg (Randall) of 51 years. Lovingly remembered by his son, Bruce (Andrea) and his dear grandchildren, Elliot and Miles. Fondly remembered by his brother, Tom (Ruth) and their family, Rob (Melissa), Jim (Michelle), Beth (Drew). Predeceased by his parents, George and Cathie Dean. Also remembered by his students whom he inspired while teaching for the London Board of Education and the many audiences throughout Canada that he enthralled with his professional and unique magic shows. The family is sincerely grateful and would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Glendale Crossing and Dr. Andrew Whynot for their care, support and love. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 28, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dick are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex or a charity of your choice.
