Obituary of Rodger Shaw

After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Rodger passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2018, on his 70th birthday. Loving husband of Brenda Shaw; wonderful father to Kari (Aaron) and Lisa (Mike). A fun Grandpa that was always cheering in the stands at the hockey rinks for his four grandchildren: Brandon and Erik McDougall, and Tomas and Jessica Perosevic. Predeceased by his parents, Albert A. Shaw and Thelma Catherwood. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff on the 6th floor Palliative Care, Victoria Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospice, London for their wonderful care. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rodger are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London or the Canadian Cancer Society.
