Obituary of James 'Jim' Henry Fitzpatrick

Suddenly, on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Deanne for 60 years. Loving father of Larry (Pam), Mary-Lynn, and Ken. Cherished Poppa of Alison (John) Buckle and Kathleen. Proud Poppa Jim of Ethan, Emily and Eric Buckle. Dear brother of Marilyn (Ron) Wettlaufer. Also will be missed by his sister-in-law Dixie (Doug) Robbie, brother-in-law George (Babs) Snelgrove, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim worked for London Life Insurance Company for 38 years before retiring in 1996. He was an enthusiastic member of the Canadian Celtic Choir, the Greenhills Golf Club, the London Curling Club, and the London “Y” Aquatic Club. Jim and Deanne made great memories sailing out of Bayfield. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider The Salvation Army and St. George’s Anglican Church in Denfield.
