Obituary of John Edward Watson

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 10th, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Paula for 52 years. Devoted father of Dawn Licul (Edward), John (Katrina) and Steven (Kerri). Proud grandfather of Austin, Kelsey, Courtney, Carter, Evan, Reese, Rylan, Emma and Quinn. Also survived by his close uncle George Charlton. Jack was a dedicated and proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Armed Forces with a combined 27 years of service to our country. He was an avid sports enthusiast and had a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the University of Notre Dame football. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:30 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a Royal Canadian Legion Service under the auspices of Byron Legion Branch #533 will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by the memorial service.
