Obituary of Randolph "Randy" Russell Bedford

With family by his side, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the age of 53. Beloved partner of Erika Hill. Loving and proud father of Clare. Dear friend and former spouse of Sue. Missed by his furry four-legged companions, Stella and Molly. Predeceased by parents Gloria and Harry. Randy was raised in the farming community of Charing Cross, and developed a love of the outdoors early in life. He spent much of his time volunteering with the Ilderton Skating Club, Home Region, Western Ontario Section and Skate Canada. He was a hardworking and respected member of Western Technology Services at UWO. Randy will be lovingly remembered as an audiophile and all around handyman. He enjoyed skiing, fine coffee and hot coriander chutney. The family wishes to thank the staff of the London Regional Cancer Program, VON, ParaMed, and SWLHIN, for their wonderful care and support of Randy and his family. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Randy are asked to consider VON Canada or ParaMed.
