Obituary of Brent Earl Austin

Due to a tragic accident on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, doing what he loved best, riding his Harley, Brent Austin passed away at LHSC, Victoria Hospital. Unforgettable husband of Jeannine (née Brand) and most dedicated and loving father of Leo and Jesse. Beloved son of Joan and the late Bruce Austin, and son-in-law of Yvonne and the late David Brand. Dear brother of Brad Austin (Donna) and Lisa Austin-Moore (Peter), and brother-in-law of Alan Brand (Debra) and Graham Brand (Tiffany). Cherished uncle of Heather, Jennifer, Hayley, Mackenzie, Danny, Ryan, Ethan, Bailey, Micaela, Olivia and Aiden. Brent will be remembered by his many friends and co-workers as a gentle giant who loved hard and lived life to the fullest. Friends and relatives will be received at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the HERMITAGE CLUB, 1040 Commissioners Road West, London, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Brent are asked to consider Diabetes Canada. “Some of it’s magic and some of it’s tragic, but I had a good life all the way.”
