Obituary of Judith Ivadell McLeish

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Monday, July 2nd, 2018, Judith (Judy) Ivadell McLeish (nee Squire), of London and formerly of Tecumseh, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Larry for 38 years. Cherished mother to Lori (Chris Grant) and Stephen (Christine) McLeish. Devoted Nana to Mackenzie, Samantha, Liam and Kingsley. Much loved sister-in-law of Sue (Gary McNaughton), Greg, Heather (Don) McRae, Sandy (Gail), Megan (Donna), Jo Ellen (Jeff) Wright, and late Jeff (2014) and their children. Missed by the Squire and Flagg families. Daughter of Ray (1998) and Ivadell (2013) Squire. Predeceased by her brother Jerry (1977). Judy’s loving fur baby Molly will miss her. In addition to being a full time mother, Judy devoted her time to her family, friends and the community. Judy was a member of the Lions International Family for over 40 years which included being a Charter Member of the Lakeside Lions of Tecumseh and District and recently joining the Hyde Park and District Lions in London. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, July 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend a Lions Service from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the same evening. The funeral service will conducted in the Westview chapel on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Carol Browning officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A special ‘thank you’ to all the caregivers at St. Josephs Hospice and Victoria Hospital Palliative Care who took such great care of our Judy during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, London or the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs would be appreciated by the family.
