Obituary of Eileen Elizabeth Warden (nee Speer)

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19th, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospice (London) in her 90th year. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.” Predeceased by her beloved husband, David, in 2013 after 56 years of marriage. Dearly loved mother to John and his wife Lisa, and Lois, all of London. Survived by her siblings, Ann (Roy) Semrau (Phoenix, Arizona) and Dorothy Gray and William Speer, both of Northern Ireland. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Canada and USA. Honoured grandmother to Victoria and Allie Gratton and Benjamin Doner. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. The funeral service will be conducted at HIGHBURY GOSPEL HALL, 1196 Highbury Avenue, London, on Saturday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at the Hall from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens beside her dear husband.
