Obituary of Christine Marie Burke

Passed away on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018, in her 90th year. She was born and raised in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland. Daughter of the late Johanna and William Shea. A resident of London since 1984. She retired from the Office of Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1979. Beloved mother of David Burke, Catherine Burke and Sharon Burke (Phil Bagley). Cherished grandmother of Stephan Burke, Desirée Rigby (Alex) and Renee Burnett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine loving brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. ANDREW THE APOSTLE PARISH, 1 Fallons Lane, London on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Christine are asked to consider the Children’s Health Foundation or a charity of their choice.
