Obituary of Sheila Thomas

With sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Sheila Ann Thomas, of London, at University Hospital on Thursday May 3, 2018, in her 80th year. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Jessie Glennon, of Watford, and her brother Dennis of Trenton. Survived by her son David, along with niece Maureen and nephew Michael. Missing Sheila will be many other relatives throughout Ontario and Michigan. Born in London, Ontario and raised in Watford, Ontario, Sheila worked at McCormick Canada (Club House Foods) for 27 years before her retirement in 2003, where she was known for taking many photos of various company activities. She previously worked at C.I.P. Containers, the London Free Press and Supertest. The family wishes to thank the medical staff at University Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital plus Extendicare London for their kind and compassionate care the past few years. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Sheila's memory are asked to consider the Arthritis Society or the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family in the future.
