Obituary of John Henry Gurd

Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in his 93rd year. Beloved partner of Luella. Loving father of David. Also loved by his grandchildren Linda (Terry), Gabriel, Jacob and great-grandchildren Logan and Teagan. Jack will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son John, daughter Leslie, brother Arthur and sisters Rita and Barbara. Jack was a WWII Veteran of the Canadian Navy. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 300 will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life service. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider Parkinson Canada.
