Obituary of Marilyn Joan Collier (nee Harvey)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018, in her 86th year. She will now be reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Bert Collier (2016). Loving mother of Kevin (Lesley), Brenda Davie (Perry), Becky Hulley (Jim) and David (Peggy). Proud Gramma Nama of Andrew, Mathew, Jennifer, Jacob, Mitch, Amy, Elizabeth and Brett and great-Grandma of Sammy and Alison. Predeceased by her parents, Austin and Madeline Harvey, as well as her brother, Jack and sister, Beverly (Ozzie) Wort. Marilyn started ballet at a young age and continued up until she went to school to become a nurse. She worked as a nurse until she became a mother. She was so proud of being a nurse. The family thanks the staff at peopleCare Oakcrossing for the care and kindness they gave to Marilyn, especially during the difficult time during her palliative care. A private inurnment will take place at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
