Obituary of Karl Anton Dutz

(1938 - 2018) Karl passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018. Beloved husband to Ursula, his wife of 55 years. Loving father to Diana (Joe), Erika, and Andrew (Jodi). Cherished Opa to Jaime and Anthony. He will be missed by family and dear friends, near and far. Karl will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of travel and nature, his passion for social justice, and his deep devotion to his family. He was a loyal friend to many and his loss will be felt by those in Cozumel, his home away from home, as well as by former colleagues at Labatt's, where he worked for 36 years (less a day). We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Geming Tu, Carrie Ielapi, and to all the palliative staff at Victoria Hospital and Parkwood Institute. Thank you for the compassionate care and support you provided for Karl and our family. Friends will be received from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Karl invites you to donate to a charity that is close to your heart.
