Obituary of Ronald Alfred Dishman

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 30th, 2017, at peopleCare Oakcrossing, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (née Pinnell) (2013). Loving father of Debra Laing (John McCaul) of London. Also missed by Jim (Bev) Cameron of Walkerton and the late Ron (Joanne) Cameron of Kincardine. Dear brother of Jack and Bill Dishman. Predeceased by his siblings, George and Kenneth Dishman and Kathleen Hannigan. Treasured Grandpa of Michelle, Amanda, Mark, Leanne, Scott, Lisa and Rona-Jo, and many great-grandchildren. Ron will be missed by his cats, Booger and Bowie and by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at ELMWOOD AVENUE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 111 Elmwood Avenue East, London on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m., with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ron are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex or the London Humane Society.
