Obituary of Lorna Eileen Getliffe

Born in Owen Sound December 1st, 1912. Lorna Eileen Getliffe (née Hay), in her 105th year, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Ray (2008). Much loved mother of John Getliffe and Lorna “Dee” Yurchuk (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Nancy-Dee Yurchuk, Kathryn Getliffe, Jane Hill (Mark), Tom Getliffe (Heather), Jim Yurchuk (Caroline), Hugh Getliffe (late Tara 2016) and Kate Getliffe. Dearly loved Gran of Alex, Erica, Kent, Emmie, Amanda, Evan, Rachel, Margaret, Morgan and Rebecca. Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Isabel Getliffe. Also predeceased by siblings, Bill, Alex, Cliff, Jack and Margaret Hay. Lovingly cared for by Bev Saward and the staff and doctors of the Byron Family Medical Centre. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, December 17th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with reception to follow.
