Obituary of Shawn Michael Wingert

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Monday, October 30th, 2017, in his 32nd year. Loving husband of Jenna. Devoted father of Zoey. Cherished son of Nancy Shipston and her husband John. Predeceased by his father Greg. Sadly missed by his brothers, Brendan Wingert (Sarah) and Dennis Shipston (Marcy), and his sister, Kathryn Fleet (Mark). Dear son-in-law of Clark and Karolyn Moore. Shawn will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He enjoyed his work at 7-Eleven and gaming with his friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at the London Regional Cancer Centre for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shawn are asked to consider a trust fund that has been set up for his daughter Zoey. This can be done through Jenna Moore.
