Obituary of Rita Mary Cassar

Peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 7, 2017, Rita Mary Cassar of London in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Carmel John Cassar. Loving mother of Victoria (Gary) Slade, Sam Cassar (Sandra), Lee (Sandy) Cassar, Tony (Kim) Cassar, Louise Brine, and Terry Cassar. Also survived and missed by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Michael (1987) and Joseph (2016), son-in-law Jason Brine (1994), and great-grandson Zachary Ollson (1998). Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where the Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rita are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
