Obituary of Francesco 'Frank' Troiano

Passed away with family at his side on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the age of 92, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Beloved husband of Vilma for 56 years. Cherished father of Leo Troiano (Bianca). Loving Nonno of Sereno. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters in Italy and the entire extended Diloreto family in Canada. Frank owned his own barber shop until the age of 84 when illness prevented him from continuing to serve the customers he so greatly enjoyed. He was devoted to all those he knew, especially his wife, son and family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, with prayers at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. MARY’S PARISH, 345 Lyle Street, London on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, London. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to those staff members at McGarrell Place who showed compassion and extended wonderful care to Frank and his family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frank are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex or the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
