Obituary of Stuart W. Howlett

At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, August 13, 2017, Stuart Howlett, of London, and formerly of Lambeth, at the age of 91. Stuart was the cherished husband of Marion Jessie Howlett (McCallum) for 63 years. Dearly loved father of Linda and her husband Dan McNeil, of London and the late Janet Howlett-Tomè. Adored grandfather of his two grandchildren, Mark and his wife Kyla, and Erin McNeil. Devoted brother of Bill and the late Shirley Howlett, Elma and the late Minze Fennema. Dear brother of the late Bernice and Roy Whiting, Bell Kettlewell and Don Howlett. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Lloyd Kettlewell, George Niblock and sister-in-law Betty Howlett. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to sincerely thank all of the wonderful caregivers that Stuart had, especially Dr. M. Tancio, Dr. A. Singh, A. Wappett and the entire staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for their kind, compassionate and exceptional care. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, August 18th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The celebration of Stuart’s life will be at BYRON UNITED CHURCH, 420 Boler Road, London on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Greg Brawn officiating. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Stuart are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London or a charity of one’s choice.
