Obituary of Charles Edgar

With great sadness, the family of Charles “Charlie” Edgar announces his passing, peacefully on Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at University Hospital, London, Ontario, in his 79th year. Loving husband and best friend of Joan for 57 years. Cherished father of Elaine Osborne and her husband Bill, of London. Predeceased by his son David (November 2015). Dearly loved and very proud grandfather of Allison, of London and Colleen (Colin) of Mt. Brydges. Best Papa in the world to his wee great-grandson, Andrew David. Charlie was happiest when he was spending time with his family. He loved his granddaughters more than anything in this world and was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments. His great-grandson Andrew was the sunshine of his life. Charlie will be greatly missed by his many friends here in Canada and Scotland; the boys at the pub on Friday nights; and very much by his golfing buddies. Thank you to our many friends who visited Charlie at home and in the hospital, and for their prayers and kindness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. "We will miss you every minute, of every day, for the rest of our lives"
