Obituary of Charles Barne Watson

Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, June 26th, 2017, with his family by his side in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Lorna for 60 years. Loving father of Brian (Cindy), Lorrie Underwood, Penny (Jim) Jones, Cheryl (Dan) Roach and the “rock” of the family Randy. Cherished Grampa of 10 grandchildren, and 12 plus 1 on the way great-grandchildren. Also missed by Douglas Underwood, brother-in-law Larry and Ruth Conley, special friends Beth Welch, Lori and Art Ingrey, and his special Saturday breakfast friends: Tom, Fred, and Bill and family. Predeceased by his 7 brothers and sisters. Charles was a longtime employee at Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30th, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Union Lodge #380 A.F. & A.M. will be conducted in the chapel at 3:45 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Charles are asked to consider the London Shrine Transportation Committee or The Lung Association.
