Obituary of Alice M. Wade (née Blake)

Peacefully, surrounded by her son and daughter at Henley Place, on Sunday, June 4th, 2017, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Howard Wade (2012). Loving mother of Cynthia Wade, Robert Wade and his wife Ellen, and the late Mary Catherine Rose (2015) and her husband Andrew. Treasured by her grandchildren: Celina, Zachary and Morgan Rose; Kristen and Rebecca Wade. Predeceased by her parents George and Mary Blake, and her brothers George, John, and Gordon Blake. Alice was a loving, devoted and cherished wife, mother, and grandmother who was dedicated to her Catholic Faith, and a member to the C.W.L. for 62 years. Alice also was passionate about her lifelong career as a Registered Nurse, which she began at the age of 18. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, June 9th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
