Obituary of Eleanor Clendinning

Peacefully, at Kensington Village, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Clendinning. Loving mother of Jim Clendinning and his wife Laurel, and Joan Park and her husband Don. Cherished grandmother of Alex (Sarah) and Andrew; Erin, Jenny, Jonathan (Ashley) and Alanna, and great-grandmother of Owen and Georgia. Loved by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Eleanor was a longtime member of the Highland Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing and curling. The family would like to thank the Kensington Village staff and Dr. Daniel Leger for the care and compassion shown to their mother. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private burial at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to World Wildlife Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
