Passed away suddenly at University Hospital, on Sunday, May 21st, 2017 in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Jarmo Hietalahti for 40 years. Loving mother of Lisa (Rob) Berndt, Chris (Laura) Hietalahti, and Dave (Amy) Hietalahti. Cherished daughter of Vera and the late William Carlson. Also loved by her grandchildren, Rachel, Emily, Aliya, Max and Madeline. Dear sister of William (Gayle). Predeceased by sister Judy. Special thank you to the VON, Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Stack and Dr. Potvin. A Celebration of Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, May 26th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Kathryn are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.
