Obituary of Laszlo 'Les' Gombas

Peacefully, with his family by his side at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Friday, February 24th, 2017, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Magda for 64 years. Loving father of Laszlo “Les” and his wife Eva. Cherished Papa of Gloria and Robert. Dear brother of Helen Kovacs (the late Bandi). Proud godfather of Paul Sztanko and uncle of Dan, Monika, Andrew, and Ilona. Also missed by various family in Hungary. Predeceased by his sister Pearl “Piroska” and his loving mother Maria Dojcsak. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Les are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Centre - Cardiology Department.
