Obituary of Marlene Hemrich

Passed away at University Hospital on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in her 80th year. Marlene was a loving wife to the late Wilhelm (2016) for 60 years. Proud mother of Reinhold Hemrich, and beloved by her granddaughter, Grace Hemrich, and daughter-in-law, Michelle Flynn. Marlene had three careers: owner/operator of “Marlene’s European Hairstyling”, one of the first businesses to open at the Westown Plaza in the early 1960’s, retail sales, and finally photography. She loved camping, was an avid nature lover, and was an active member of the London Camera club. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marlene are asked to consider their charity of choice.
