Obituary of Connie Lou Moore

Peacefully, at Strathmere Lodge, on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017, Connie Lou Moore passed away in her 91st year. Loving mother of Janis (Dennis) Dixon and Bradley James. Cherished grandmother of: Ryan (Meghann), Josh (Helena), Alexis (Bill), and Sandra. Also remembered by great-granddaughters: Olivia, Jaidyn, and Shauna. Predeceased by her parents Thomas J. and Alice Martin, and her grandson Christopher Mathew Dixon. Connie Lou spent most of her working career at A&P and enjoyed travel in her retirement. Her last few years were spent at Seasons Retirement in Strathroy and then at Strathmere Lodge since last May. A special thanks to the staff at Strathmere Lodge for their support and kindness towards Connie and her family. A memorial reception will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, February 24th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with words of remembrance at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Arthritis Society, Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex or the London Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
