Obituary of Douglas Alex Law

Peacefully with family by his side at University Hospital on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Helen G. Law (née Thompson) for 61 years. Loving father of Peggy Dunham (David), Douglas M. Law (Marguerite), Patricia Clute (Barry), Susan Grau (Win) and Laurie Johle (Ernst). Cherished grandfather of Colin and Eric Dunham, David Law, Hudson and Cooper Grau, Stacey and Carolyn Johle. Dear brother of Barb Pretlac (Dick), Richard “Dick” Law (Phyllis) and brother-in-law of Rose Law. Predeceased by his brother John Law. The family would like to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for the exceptionally compassionate care provided by Doug’s Palliative Care Team at University Hospital during his days. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The memorial service will be conducted at Riverside United Church, 695 Riverside Drive, London, on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Douglas are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation (Palliative Care), Riverside United Church or The Salvation Army.
