Obituary of Norman Keith Cameron

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday, January 5th, 2017, shortly after celebrating his 96th birthday. Norman served for six years in Provost Corps in World War II. He then returned to Holland to marry his dutch sweetheart in December 1946. Together, they returned to Canada to begin a new life. Norman joined the London Township Police and later was employed by the City of London Social Services. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Caroline (Lientje), parents John and Elizabeth, sister Lillian, brothers Frank, Fred and Jack. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins, in Canada and by his wife’s family in Holland. He will be missed by his close companion, his dog “Tia”. The family extends a special thank you to Norman’s loving neighbours, the VON Nurses, CCAC Palliative Care and the angels at St. Joseph’s Hospice. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Norman are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice.
