Obituary of Rose Lenore Harding

Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, January 2nd, 2017. Beloved daughter of Gladys and Russell Harding. Lovingly remembered by many cousins. Rose Lenore was a Cub Leader for 20 years. She was also a member of the Salvation Army London Citadel for over 60 years and Metropolitan United Church. She was employed at Eaton’s, Rowland Hill and Pro Hardware. Rose Lenore played the coronet in the London All Girls Band, then the London East Boys and Girls Band and the Horizon Band at the University of Western Ontario. Thank you to the wonderful staff at University Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Major Wilson Noble and Rev. Herb Summers officiating as well as music by the Salvation Army Jubilee Brass. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers are greatly appreciated because of Rose Lenore’s love for flowers.
