Obituary of Doris Lucille Dell

Passed away at Meadow Park Long Term Care Home in London on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, at the age of 87. Doris is survived her by two sisters, Peggy Stewart of Sioux Lookout, ON, and Ila Milligan of Calgary, AB, as well as seven nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Verlyn Grover of Edmonton, AB. Born January 27, 1929, on a prairie homestead at Helmsdale, AB, Doris spent her early life in Alberta, working at various places until 1967 when she moved to London. She loved the big trees, beautiful spring and autumn seasons, and spent many hours walking in the parks. Doris enjoyed her relationships with colleagues and friends during her 29 years at Carlton Realty and ICORR Properties. After retirement, she spent three years in Calgary, AB, then moved back to London. Doris especially enjoyed studying her Bible and spending time with the Lord in prayer and worship. She made several trips to Israel and friends have arranged for trees to be planted there in her memory. The family is honouring her request that there be no funeral or memorial service after her passing.
