Obituary of James Harris

Quietly at Chartwell London Long Term Care Residence in London, at age 88 years, Paul went to be with his Lord and to reunite with his son Harvey (Feb., 2016) on December 10, 2016. Born September 19, 1928 at Strathroy Hospital. Devoted husband of 63 years to Wandalee (Bloomfield). Proud father of Harvey (Sharon) Harris, Anna (James) Oatman, Mary (Peter) Gilbert and Evan (Kim) Harris and lovingly known as “Dad”, “Grandpa” and “Uncle Paul” to many others. Loving grandfather to Oliver (Mary Lou) Oatman, Paul (Julie) Harris, Gwen Oatman, Stefanie (Brent) Ritchie, Steve Gilbert, Natalee (Eric) Hoskins, Morgan Harris, Holly Gilbert, Brett Harris and Sophie Harris. Great-grandfather to Violet, Vienna and Ava Ritchie, JJ and Maggie Oatman and Harvey Harris. Predeceased by sisters Lorein (John) Brown and Elsie Linton. Survived by his brother-in-law Ross Linton as well as many dear nieces, nephews, close family members and friends. Paul enjoyed many great years working at Dictaphone Corporation and was a long-standing and faithful member of Knollwood Baptist Church. Visitation will take place Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service beginning at noon at KNOLLWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH, 800 Cheapside Street, London.
