Obituary of Dan Elmen Efford

Passed away suddenly at Victoria Hospital in the early morning of November 24, 2016, on the heels of celebrating his 75th birthday the week before. Survived by his loving wife Suzanne and adored father of four children: Brad Efford, Jean-Paul Efford, Joelle Efford-Gibbons and the late Danielle Efford (2012); and father-in-law to Lisa Efford, Ian Gibbons and Katie Harding. Loving grandfather of Braeden, Lucas, Haida and Simone. A proud native of Newfoundland, Dan had a long and fruitful career in print media, first at The Canadian Press in Toronto, followed by 29 years at The London Free Press. We will greatly miss his curious mind, creativity and love of laughter. A memorial service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
