Obituary of Cathy Ward

Peacefully with family by her side at University Hospital, London, on Sunday, October 30, 2016, Cathy Ward, formerly of Halls Lake, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ben Ward for 51 years. Loving and cherished Mom of Ben (Val), Anne (Derek), and Patty (John). Adored Grandma of Christina, Samantha (Steve), Cameron and Russell. Special thanks to her dear friend Art for all his love and care. Heartfelt gratitude to the 5th Floor Nursing Staff and also to the staff at Chelsey Park Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Haliburton County, in the summer of 2017. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Cathy are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
