Obituary of Paul Joseph Van Den Akker

Surrounded by family at home on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016, Paul Van Den Akker of London in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Laura Gibson and son of Mary and the late Bert Van Den Akker (1982). Loving father of Leanna Van Den Akker (Joe Hazelwood), Holly (Dave) Ross, Ashley Van Den Akker, and Sadie Gibson. Much loved grandfather to Caleb, Jayden, Carter, Layla and Quinn. Dear brother of Nell (John Howse), Ricky Ager, Ken (Janet), John (Fran), Fritz (Diane), Teresa Johnston, Mary (Joe Joosten), Betty (Desmond Lam) and Angela (Paul Andersen). Dear brother-in-law of Hugh Gibson and Ormah-Lee Jacobs. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Bert (1980). Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Oakland Cemetery.
